Previously proud GM owner now is kick to the curb Saturn owner. Buy non-GM.
Hehe... I had the same problems with my 06 Ions(I have two of them) and so I can understand his frustration. As I was told, the reason that the same problem and defective part was dealt with differently between brands was that ALL Cobalts in the affected years had this problem while only certain VIN Saturns had the problem? So, the Cobalt got the recall while the Saturn got the warranty extension.
Still, it would have been smart of GM to treat all GM vehicles with the same problem and same defective part the same? I would expect that Pontiac owners might see the same issue too?
Anyway, as a fellow proud Saturn owner, I hope that he gets his issue resolved by GM to his/her satisfaction.
