You have a lot of options for the 2000. What are you thinking about doing?

I would suggest a MPS for your pulley, and a 3.5" instead of the 3.4" You will need to scan for KR if your going to go that small. To safely get to tat size you will need to do something about your exhaust. PEM, Plogs, or headers. If possible a cam or rockers will help.

To get to the 13s club you will need to do a lot of work. That'* where I am.

yea based on your pic it looks like there is a lot of work to be done. it will be fun getting there tho. it seems like the ssei'* come with a little juice to em stock, at least compared to my ln3 theres a significant difference.

Hi Redeyesbonnie - Welcome. there is a wealth of information here and a great group of people who want to see you get the best from your Bonneville. I've applied many mods I've learned about here to my 2000 SSEi with a few more to come as well.

Stock you should be in the 15s. You can drop perhaps a grand or less in be in the 14s real deep. Things start adding up when your installing headers, cam, intercoolers, transmission work. Your biggest problem is going to be your tires. It'* hard to get traction with all that power. Even with my good 245s I can spin them right up to 48 mph. I probably have about $2000 or so in go fast mods. Thats not including, now 3 sets of tires, tools, software for tuning, gauges to help tune and monitor the engine.

I should also ask, where are you located. Some members, myself included can tune bonnevilles. This will be a big help for you.

i just recently bought mine a couple months ago and it has about 63,000 on it. im not sure if the previous owner took care of it or not, but i' ve changed the oil, (mobil 1) changed the supercharger oil and a new air cleaner, for starters. recently the oil pressure gauge became pegged out. so from what ive read thats a common thing with these cars (oil pressure sending unit) and the passanger heated seat doesnt work. another thing i've noticed is a clunking noise when turning to the left, maybe intermediate shaft?

Sounds like your on top of most of the problems. Don't forget to check your transmission fluid as well. Your about due for a fluid and filter change. Also be sure to check your coolant. Your about due for a flush.
