Noob from Ohio!
Hey Yo! Whats up everyone? I'm Steve, 22 years old, college student, from Hilliard (westside of Columbus) Ohio. I own a 2000 S10 Xtreme and a 1992 Camaro RS. I used to own a '97 GTP.
My mom has a '93 Pontiac Bonneville SSE. It is supercharged. Dark green with tan leather interior. Fully loaded, power everything, HUD, moonroof, etc. It'* almost identical to an SSEi. Not 100% sure, but IIRC it has every option available except traction control.
The thing about this car, it'* been sitting for the past year. It used to be a very nice car but it has gone downhill drastically over the years. The car has somewhere around 180,000 miles on it. The supercharger was making a lot of noise, but it was recently rebuilt a few months ago. The harmonic balancer was also replaced. My brother tried to start the car after fixing it, but it wouldn't start. It tried to start but wouldn't fire up. He hasn't had time to mess around with it, so it'* still just sitting around.
I have the oppurtunity to get the car basically for free, but I'm wondering if it'* even worth it. I don't have much time or money to throw at yet another car, and who knows what else might be wrong with it. BUT, I figure with a little TLC it could be a really nice daily driver. I see a ton of these in salvage yards around town, so parts seem pretty easy to come by.
Well anyways, I'm glad to be here

Welcome to the Club. The Bonne is still looking good. I'd get it running. Parts are common and nothing like a little whine back and forth to work.

Thanks for the welcome guys!
Talked to my brother earlier. Turns out the harmonic balancer hasn't been replaced yet. The car also needs new tires, brakes, headlight switch, and various other little stuff. The climate control is also really screwy. It has a lot of miles and still has a lot of original parts, plus it'* an older car and has been sitting for a while, so who knows what else might need replaced on it.
I might just end up selling the car and giving the money to my mom. Just depends on how much time and money I'll have to spend on it which will determine whether I decide to keep it or not
