Hi everyone. Been browsing the forums and must say I am impressed. Wealth of information here, to say the least. Anyways, I'm Scott Williamson and have just purchased a 95 Bonneville SE. It'* a restoration project to be sure but not a basket case. I'll post before, during, and after photos as I go along with the job.

My first question would be about aftermarket seats. The grey leather seats in it now are showing some signs of age with some cracking, especially the driver'* seat. Anyone have any advice on a good replacement or would having them recovered be a better idea?

To be honest, I would scour a wrecker yard to see what is available. I'm sure those seats can get expensive, just a thought!

Welcome! I agree on the seats. You can find some pretty sweet seats at a wrecker, but you have to know what to look for. Some SE'* came with different controls Do you have the power adjustments on the seat, or on the console? Console shift, or column shift?

A better option may be to just replace the leather itself from the wrecker donor. I've had mine off for a heated seat install. Might be a better option for you in the long run.

willwren-It'* a column shift with controls on the seat. The passenger is in good shape, the driver is starting to show some wear. The grey leather has picked up a few cracks. Did you build that cold air intake yourself or have it done? Just wondering how hard it was to do.

Edit-Don't know what I was thinking, it'* a console shift. In fact, after spending a little more time around the car, I'm not even sure it'* an SE or another model. I know almost nothing about these cars.......for now:}
