I turned 16 last April, so I saved up money all year from my job as a newspaper boy to buy a car. My uncle sold me his champagne colored '93 Bonneville SSE with 157,000 mi on it for about $1200. It'* nothing special yet, and some of the stuff inside is broken or missing. I'm trying to make it look decent while not putting a lot of money into it. I'm trying to throw a few neons in. It has a tan leather interior with the console in the middle and all those crazy seat adjusting buttons. I think one of the awkward parts is the headlight washers. I was wondering if anyone had any idea what color of neons might look decent inside 'er? Well, this site looks pretty cool, so hopefully I'll stick around.

With my old Bonnie, I didnt have neons, but I changed all my interior lights to red...it was great...

Now my buddy owns it and he added red neon...it completes the package nicely.

Congrats on the car and have fun with it

Thanks. Yeah, I was checking through the old booklet to find the part numbers for the interior bulbs. One of these days I'll go to a local store and ask if they can help me locate some red reading bulbs. Do you, by any chance, know what the door lights are?

If I were you, look for 194R'* I needed quite a few of those. If you go to AutoZone, you may find gel caps that slide over the bulbs. In my case, if I couldn't find the red bulbs or caps, I bought red tint film, and tinted the inside of the plastic lens.

Just as effective

The lights in the 87-91 layout is not the same as the 92-95. Come to think of it, bonnie94sse did his interior in red after seeing mine. He will have specific bulb numbers.

Oh! also check in TechInfo..do a seach for bulbs
