New from Wisconsin
I’ve been drag racing awhile now with the firebird, so I though it was time to work on getting the daily driver up to speed. My daily driver is 1996 Bonnie SE in the Grey-Green Metallic with gold rims (pics to come). I am the car’* only owner, ordered the car new in ‘96 myself. So far the car runs great with only 115K on it and I must say for a car that is now ten years old is in excellent shape. So over the course of the next year, I plan on kicking up the power on this Bonnie.
Cheers,
Cheers,

Wow, for someone that races a car like that, im shocked you dont atleast have a SSEi.
But i love to see another SE get kicked up a notch...what kinda stuff you have planned?
Anyway, Welcome to the club. Hope you enjoy your time spent here and i hope you stick around for a good long time

I'm Dave P.
exhaust, cam, rockers, etc.
Currently I am working on making a fiber ram air-duct to feed the air to the engine using the existing upper grille inserts.
I have extra set of heads from the machine shop so I am going to be reworking these things to the max. Such as bigger valves, angle milling the head, re-guiding the head for 7mm valves, and reconfiguring the rocker arms so that they can accommodate true shaft rockers.
Note, I do not want to go forced induction. Everything that I have drive/ built in the past has been naturally aspirated, that where I plan to stay.
Next major step is going to be the exhaust I can build one cheaper then I can buy one. The only problem is that as far as I know, nobody makes header flanges for the 3800 S2. So it looks like I’ll be making some.
I might decide to do some exterior tweaks, but the main idea that I have got going is trying to keep the car in full sleeper mode.

7 seconds to 183 lol. THATS F^ quick..... whats the 8th mile trap?
if you go the cam/heads route I'd imagine you can get the 96 into the 13s with no power adders. But you could always throw a l67 in there for a little more coin.
