Thanks, my Trans Am is a 79 WS-6 car. It was my first Pontiac, and I have owned it since my senior year in high school (1982).

I also have an 83 T/A, WS-6, that I put a 1999 Vortec 5.7 into last year.
That car is a riot to drive. The 5spd., really makes it a joy to drive.
I've owned that one since 1988.

Thanks,
Leon.

The 79 T/A is a 403/auto.

It came with the 2:73 posi,
I changed that to 3:73 posi, for a few years,
and now I have a 2:56 posi in it now, it cruises a little
easier now.
My plan is to put the 3:73s back in, along with a 200-4R ,
then I can have my cake, and eat it too

And the 83 T/A has 3:73, also.

Leon.

Very nice!

I put a 3:42 in my 79...gives it a nice little kick when taking off! It will mate nicely with the 455 and TH400!!!
