well guys for starters im currently living in tyler texas. i just bought my 2000 bonneville a month ago, and love it. it is the third car that me and my wife own. we have a 2000 jeep cherokee and a 1990 lincoln mark vii lsc. ive always loved the newer bonnevilles. one of my friends when i was in the air force got one as a rental car and i got to ride in it. well after my bug caught fire in june i was looking for a new car. my wife couldnt drive the bug due to it being a stick. so i wanted something sporty but with room for a family. so when i found my 2000 bonneville and test drove it i was hooked. so i called my bank and they did their work and got me approved for it. they only wanted 4000 total. well we went to indiana last week and again i was shocked on how it handeled. my wife even drove it for the first time. she like driving it. for a full size car with a V6 its got all the horsepower it needs. R there any mods that can be done to it. i wana fix it up soon after me move to indiana. anyone near poseyville indiana. thats where we are heading.

What he said.

The Series 2 3800 is pretty much the LS1 of V6'* when it comes to the amount of mods available for it.

Hi Robert!

Welcome to the Bonneville Forum! You've come to the right place for keeping the Bonnie running as well as getting the extra HP that sits hidden in side that motor.

Welcome to the forum Robert.

We are kind of fond of our newer body style Bonnes here, most of us who have them anyway. We want, no sorry, we need pics of your bonne, It'* a drug to us.

These cars have more power than they need, and it'* our job to help you get an obscene amount of power out of it. Where do you want to start?

well to start off my bonneville is a 2000 base model. it has the 3800 without the supercharger.it has the stock aluminum rims. as for pics i dont have a camera phone or a digital camera. but as soon as i get to my dads in indiana i will most definitely take some of my car. along with my other two pride and joys. as far as mods. im going to be on a tight budget for a while. till i get my new job and get all three of my cars to indiana. since i cant get all three of our cars up there my lincoln will have to stay in texas. which sucks majorly. the only question i have is whys does my headliner keep falling. ive sprayed it around the roof console, by the back map lights, and by the back window. i dont know if it is the weather or the adhesive i bought but it isnt working at all.i know one thing i like is the power this car has. i wana put her up against my lincoln mark vii, which has 425 under the hood. i think the bonny could take the old lady on take off but i dont know about top speed.
