Default NEW PONTIAC OWNER

Hey all,

I'm a new member and just out checking out the sites for Bonnies. I just bought it Sat. I rolled my 02 Envoy last Thursday and totalled it. I decided I would go for something that was a little more sporty. I will have pictures later. Weather is crap here, so my beautiful black paint looks terrible. More to follow

Matt

I'm in Moline, ILL.

The weather is absolutly crap here, and the city says they ran out of salt, so the roads get worse everyday.

Default UPGRADES??

Yep the weather sucks, and our town is out of salt too! I was wondering what upgrades are out there for the 4.6L. I do have a warranty, so I don't know how much I can do at this point, but I wouldn't mind getting a little more power.

Nothing that I know of. Maybe you could do a intake for some noise, but won't gain anything. The N* really doesn't have any aftermarket.

Psh, Will, go back to 1992-1999

Of course there are mods, just not as many as the V6 guys. The Northstar responds VERY well to exhaust mods, like a good ol' flowmaster muffler for example...

This is a Caddy Seville, but it'* the same thing...
http://youtube.com/watch?v=ahsPNOAgLRs

Also, you could also do intake mods... Pretty sure you can use the Intense kit, since IIRC the Northstar throttle body is the same diameter...

Also, GXP_Venom put nitrous in his car, and from what I hear, it'* pretty dang fast...
So, you have a pretty good idea of what you can do... PCM (computer that controls the powertrain) can NOT be modded, which is why people say that the N* has no aftermarket. So, there isn't really any parts available solely for the GXP, but you'll just have to get creative

Oh yeah, Welcome!
