Default New Olds guy from KY

Hello I'm a another G.M. guy who has owned his fair share over the years. Starting with a 72 G.M.C. Sprint about 18 years ago. Moving on to my first build a 1981 Pontiac Grand Prix with a mild built 350 Chevy with 3.73 in the rear. Owned it for nine years before I sold it, a mistake I live with.

I have owned Camaro'* and so on, but none of the Chevy'* would compare to the 96 Bonneville I owned for seven years until I traded for a truck last year. It was one of the best cars I've ever owned. Did a engine swap in 03 with some upgrades to make a little more power. Why I did the engine swap, I broke a rod in the engine which busted a hole in the block.

I've owned other G.M. cars and trucks ranging from years 1970 until 1999.

My current project is a 1970 Cutlass * I bought a year ago and started working on about four months ago. Started with taking it all apart and now I'm repairing the rust. Main areas of rust is around the front and rear glass. I'll get some pics later.

About me I grew up working in a body shop. My father and grandfather did body work. I've always been more mechanical then doing the body work, but I know how too. I work in a factory as a welder building F150 frames and have done so for the past eleven years.

I'm glad to join your forum, share and help. Thanks.

Welcome to the forum. Can't wait to see pics of your Cutlass. I've always had a partial liking to them as my dad has a 1972 Supreme

Thanks for the warm welcome. I don't work at Ford, I work at one of the companies that supplies frames to them. I have a pic of the car before I took it apart. I do have a lot of the work I have done to it.
