First off, great site. I've owed my Bonneville since 95' and wish I had come across this group MUCH sooner! Spent a while browsing and many of of the problems and repairs I've had were covered, quite well I'd like to add.
Anyway, my car just rounded the 100k mark and hasn't been running as it should - FAST
I was online checking out service manuals (have a Haynes #19020 which doesn't cover my ride well) when I came across this site and started reading some of the performance upgrade posts. I was going to do a full standard tune-up, but thought I'd see if anyone could recommend a performance shop that is very familiar with the Bonneville in the Raliegh, NC area. While I've done most of the maintanence myself over the years, I'm not sure I could handle any serious mods. I'd love to get another 100k out of the old girl.
Any thoughts welcome, Thanks!

Welcome to the club. You can beat the ever loving **** out of your car and it'll love every second of it.....Well except for the tranny. LOL Anyways....I have 205K on my 95 SSEi and I've gotten it pretty well mod'd right now. It'* suprisingly easy to mod these cars. And they're incredibly responsive to modifications.
But any ?'* you have.....Bring'em on.

Thanks for the welcomes and help offers.
Very nice engine work "LakevilleSSEi"! Inspiring.
"1993 SLE" I spent almost 4 years at Ft. Bragg, so I know Fayetteville pretty well. May take you up on some help.
I've been doing a lot of reading in Techinfo and the forurms. I need to replace my valve cover gaskets and intake manifold gasket, plugs and wires, along with the usual tune-up stuff. Unfortunatley I need the car up and running shortly or I'd start thinking mods. After doing some further reading and reasearch on available performance enhancements I'm sure you'll here from me again. I must say, I'm getting fired up thinking about giving my car a face lift, or would that be engine lift.
P.*.
I came across a lot of Intake/EGR problem posts. Sounds like it'* a problem area with the Bonnie, (as is the trans, I've found out too) but I can't remember if it occurs on both the standard and supercharged models.
Anything I should be on the lookout for?
Thanks again!

Welcome to the forum, and anything you need that we can offer is yours. Chilton'* #28200 will serve you better for the same price you paid for your Haynes, but the Factory Service Manuals are the best by far.
Good luck! Go fast!
