Hello all, I just wanted to say hello and tell you a bit about my Bonneville. I bought it two years ago and from a freind that wante to sell it because he said it was a lost cause. It leaked oil, lacked power, looked bad, and the interior stunk like it was possesed by Satan. I got it for 800.00 and started to look over my purchase. I cleaned it thoughly, and shampooed the carpets. It still stunk for some reason though. I lifted up the carpet to find a molded T-shirt older than myself. I asked him about it and he told me that it was there to soak up the water leak, but he forgot about it 3 years ago! After that the car smells fine and with a little TLC, the leather really looks good. As far as the outside, I used rubbing compound and a buffer to clean up the paint so it looks nice too. Its tan outside and out, with leather. I am happy to say that with 263, 000 miles on it, abuse from previous retards (sorry, I mean owners), I was offered 2900.00 for it without a for sale sign on it. I decided to fix it up because my freinds told me that their was no point to it. Anyone that dosen't like the bonneville line, just hasen't ridden in one.

Welcome to the family. Glad to see another abused Bonne has found a good home

As for the back windows, unfortunately they were designed to only roll down 2/3 of the way. Something to do with he rear door design.
