Hi- glad to join this forum from Bowie, MD. I just moved from a 1994 Bonneville SE that I had for the past five years, and purchased a 2003 Bonneville SSEi with 45k miles from a local GM dealership. I hope I will have as good luck with the new one as with the old- I really enjoyed my time driving the '94. There are lots of options and differences to learn about on the '03- hope to get some good tips here!

Welcome to the club, the '03 has a ton of options. Do you have the HUD in your car?

Yes it has the HUD, which I really like in being a conscientious non-leadfoot. In looking at the '03 SSEi standard and optional equipment list at Edmunds.com, it has about all stock items except the trunk CD changer and XM on the radio, so it'* tricked out like a pony (lots more stuff to break, I hope not!). It had the original Goodyear RSAs at 45k miles with not much tread left going into winter, so I replaced them last week with a set of Michelin Primacy MXV4s, for a much smoother and quieter ride. I've been boning up on the '00-'05 common problems in that forum to get up to speed on the '03, and it'* been a great help in knowing what to anticipate.
