mike1995 - i dont know how many pics i have.. i have some somewhere with the motor out and what not, but i dont think anything to major. let me see if i can find some pics of the mounts and all that.
soft ride - thanks! its honestly alot faster then stock with all the motor upgrades. i had a guy do a VERY good tune on the car that helped out quite a bit with the added mods.
brian - thats the goal! not everyone likes aleros, im the guy making people change there mind. hahaha.
2k2 - hey! never knew you were on GAOC, im honestly NEVER on that site, very rarely though haha.

here are some pics when i first got the car home, keep in mind some things may look tacky, like some hanging wires. or a worn clutch pedal cover, wires have been removed and clutch pedal cover replaced. and the car HAS been cleaned haha, but these pics are also about 2 years old now. anyway... i have one with the motor out and trans hooked to it, just gotta see if i can find those. but these will do for now.
yes, i had the trans mounts powdercoated blue.
closer look on mount
i also have some videos on youtube of some WOT pulls before i did more mods and before i tuned the car. but for the life of me, i cant find the pic of my motor out of the car with the new trans on it.... oh well, those will have to do!

Ahh okay see idk names very well over there since im never on it. And thanks! Id have to agree with your last statement. I love how well the car has come together. Absolutely one of my favorite aleros (not just because its mine)
Thanks tatertoto haha.
Whats an Impy? Lol and also if you did do this swap. G6 AXLES are used for thid conversion as well. Driver side axle has to be shortened on the alero/ga by about 1/4 of an inch for good results. If you dont it makes shifting harder and the un cut axle puts stress on the differential.
And yes. The projectors are so nice! Way better then an HID kit in stock halogen housing.

Ahh. Learned something new.. I have found one guy on youtube who 5 speed swapped his either 3.1 or 3.4 impala. He really liked my 6 speed too lol
But as for the impala ive only seen his that was manual swapped. So if you decide, id say go for it. Have yet to see a 6 speed one.

It feels great. Its just a very.... notchy transmission. Like... noisy. You can hear it shifting into gear pretty well. The clutch rattles at idle. (Probably alot worse since I have delrin bushings) but even without it rattles. But its all normal. Its just a "clunky" trans. But with all the noises the 3 people who have them swapped have had no issues. Even g6 owners with the trans say they are noisy.
Personally... I like how the tranny acts. It gives me a greater feel for the car.
