New here, but not to the 3800 community
I bought my 2000 Grand Prix over 3 years ago and have loved this W-body 3800 community ever since. I added a 2004 GP GT2 about a year ago. The last car listed below , 1995 Cutty, is the reason I'm here. I'm thinking about selling it this spring and have found a couple of salvaged Bonnevilles to repair. I've been repairing salvaged cars for quite a while now, my last 4 cars have been special projects.
I wanted to say hi, and to tell you that I'm not a newb and that I know where the search button is! I guess we'll see though if I end up buying one of those Bonnies.
Here is a link to one of them: http://www.starautosales.com/S8500.html
My question not knowing this car'* interior that well is: How difficult would replacing the passenger air bag be? Take the dash apart, replace the unit and put the dash back together. Bag deployment doesn't wreck the dash piece does it? TIA

I thought it destroyed the windshield. That car is going to need a lot of work.
But if you have the resources go for it. That looks kinda expensive to fix.
Welcome to the forums!!!
Not sure about the airbag question...you might ask it in the other board.

Piece of advice; don't mess with the airbag. Get a dealer to do that. Airbags are touchy and if you do it wrong, not only could you blow your own head through the back window, but you will be forever liable legally if the thing malfunctions on someone else.
Also, I did estimates for lease-returns at an auto auction, so I know quite a bit about body and frame work. That car is a write-off. From the inner-fender damage I can see, I can tell you that the fire wall and driver'* A-pillar structure are both badly damaged as well. That car cannot be repaired to the point of safety without massive amounts of work.

Sorry for the kinda double post. I just wanted to say hi here and I thought of my quick ? then I realized that it probably won't be seen in this part and made more of an official posting in the proper area. It would be nice if you could unlock the other post so that I may get an answer. I promise to never do that again!
