NEW HERE.BIG 3800 FAN
Hello! Found out about this site after talking to dbeast420. I have always been into motorsports as well as all Pontiacs.7 of the 15 cars I have owned have been Pontiacs:
1980 Sunbird
1980 Grand Prix
1994 Sunbird
1977 Trans Am (6.6)
1999 Firebird (3800)
1996 Bonneville (3800)
2004 GTO (current)
I currently work at a Pontiac/Buick/GMC/Hummer dealership. I am VERY firmilliar with the Bonneville as well as the mechanics of most modern GM'*. If there are problems or questions anyone might have, please ask. I will do my best to help.
I think VERY HIGHLY of the 3800 v-6. This is truely a world class motor. I have seen these things with 350,000 miles on the clock (nonrebuilt) and still running strong.
I also love Forums. Including this one, I belong too:
gtonation
gtoforum
brisbanecommodore
lostforum (can't get enough Lost!)
Looking forward to posting!!

welcome glad to have ya here.
a few months ago I also was checking out this 1986 olds 98 3.8 (not 3800 quite but pretty much an Lg3) with 391,000 yes 391k on the orginal motor
climate control was dead, radio dead, power seats dead, power locks dead but it ran great odly enough, I think it was on its 3rd transmission rebuild as well.
