Hi Welcome to the Bonneville Forum!

The strainer is located on the fuel pump assembly inside the tank. Put a pressure gauge on the fuel system by the fuel rail at the schraeder valve. https://www.gmforum.com/t284304/

Also check the FPR https://www.gmforum.com/t284305/

:Welcome

Check the fuel pressure, if you see it drop, can you hear the fuel pump? Could be a bad relay.

I Did some test on my car and the only thing that we can find is the pcm is wrecked. seems like its not sending signal to the fuel pump. The pump is good strainer checked out ok, connections on pump where good, relay and fuse are also good. right now i have the pump hooked up on a toggle switch and the car runs fine. Anybody have any opinions???? Help is much appreciated THANKS YOU

Test the wires between the PCM and the relay. Do you hear the relay click when you turn the key?
