Welcome! I lived over there for 6 years, never that far north though, always in Bavaria. How does she handle on the Autobahn?

Thank y'all for the welcomes

She handles quite well. I actually bought her in Bavaria and drove 700km home without a single problem. But until now I went easy on her b/c she need a new t-stat and front wheel bearings (those are expensive!).

When all that is fixed I will try out just how fast she can go

Yeah, those bearings are a bit stiff on the wallet. Make sure you do both at the same time.
I had troubles with my right front bearings(and on the '95 the hub/bearing/speed sensor are one assembly, $$$), and replaced hub without doing the left side. In sptie of several alignments, the car pulled to the left under acceleration. Finally gave up, replaced left hub, problem solved. :?
Let us know how she rolls when you get her out on the 'bahn, and
WELCOME

Yeah, it has a nice touch to it, doesn't it?

Actually, those were only the temporary plates for tranferring her. But soon I'll post a few pics with the new plates. They even gave me a rear plate that is smaller than US-plates

Thanks again to y'all for the welcome. I think finding parts will be no problem with such a nice community!
