New in FL
Greetings!
I just joined today - mostly on behalf of my step-dad - hailing from the Orlando, FL area. My step-dad'* car is a green '96 Bonneville SSEi, and I've come looking for help with some problems.
I'm a Lincoln Mark VIII owner myself, and have come to love communities like these where owners of similar vehicles come to share their knowledge and experience. My "home" community online is http://www.markviii.org/ where I go by the same screen name I use here.
I look forward to getting to know some of you while I'm here, and want to thank you all in advance for your participation and help in this community.

I think you will find that this group is indeed a community. We have a number of Ford driving members here (and I even drive a Ford Ranger to work, but don't tell anybody...shhhh). There are any number of members who never even drove a Bonneville, but just hang around anyway...sorta like relatives that stay too long...ya know what I mean? J/K
So, if we haven't scared you away yet, let me officially welcome you to the growing number of folks that are club members from in and around Florida and Central Florida specifically. I'm in Deltona myself, but you will see at least half a dozen others from CF hanging around regularly.

Thanks for the very warm welcome, and I already see some good-looking replies to the thread I posted about my problem!
Don't worry about the whole GM/FoMoCo competition rubbing me wrong. One of the other online communities I belong to is LvC - Lincoln vs. Cadillac, so I'm plenty used to it.
Besides, I'm still waiting for the day when both my and my step-dad'* car are in good enough shape to go head-to-head at the strip!
