Default New to the Board (Pics Added)

Figured I would introduce myself and the car. I just bought my wife an '01 SSEi with 51k on the ticker. VERY clean car in and out. Black with the goofball three spokes and beige leather. The goofballs will be swapped out real quick. I have owned a couple of GTP'* in the past and my parents have had numerous H and W bodies for years. Since this body style came out in 2K, I've wanted one. First things first, I have to get some tint on the glass and get rid of the OEM stereo. I already have the PES-WIX for the steering wheel controls along with my XM and headunit. As for performance mods, I figure the typical CAI, PCM, and Catback will get me where I want to be. I hope to have many posts here and be a member for a very long time.

Welcome to BC! The friendliest place on the intarweb! (at least in my opinion )
You might wanna post in Audio to ask about what you need for the deck install. Because you have OnStar and a class II radio, you'll have to get a special adaptor (I actually had one for sale but sold it ) to keep your door chimesAnyways, again, Welcome! Kick off your shoes, make yourself at home and stay a while

Cheap wine makes women easy and the men don't feel a thing?

I greatly appreciate the welcome. Well, believe it or not, I have already fell victim to the dreaded WSS issue. The Service Stability System light came on while my wife was on the road. I have a Launch Diagnostics that I use to check trouble codes and view live data on from a previous career. You guessed it, bad hub bearing. I'll probably swap it pretty soon. The great thing is, I have a small part time job at O'Reilly and I can get those for dirt cheap. We have had alot of fun on the back roads of West texas in it. Handles very well with minimal body roll. I have found alot of helpful threads and hope to possibly add to them. As for the radio issue, won't be a problem. I have worked on my fair share of the databus systems with onstar. As for the onstar and the bose, they will be bypassed. I am not a bose fan in both home nor auto sound systems. Again, thanks for the welcome. I'll get some pics up ASAP.[/quote]

Sorry about that hub, but they';re pretty easy to change out. Read up on it here, as there are a couple write-ups on it that will help.

And get those pics up! If you've read much here, you'll already know that we're mostly picture ****** here.
