New 2000 Bonneville SSEi Owner
Hello all.
Being a new member I figure this is the place to post first. I am a new Bonneville owner as of 2 weeks ago. I was driving an 86 Turbo Regal as a daily driver when it was decided that time has taken it'* toll on the old gal and it was time to find a new driver. My hunt was for a GM 3800 Supercharged car, Riviera or equivalent. I stumbled over the Bonneville at a good price and decent mileage (64,000) and the deal was done. The car was one of the GM corporate owned cars, so it'* loaded to the hilt. It'* proven to be a very comfortable ride to and from work. The only problem so far is the passenger front window did work, it'* now inoperable. It'* not locked, and neither the driver'* nor passengers control swith will work. Oh well, a trip inside the door seems to be in order.
So that'* me...I'm into many interesting things. If I can help anyone in the club, will do.

did you get a warranty on the car, they should fix the window...
sounds like your regulator might have went out, check this out

Thanks for the info. I'll see what I find inside that door when I get in there.
Warranty coverage is limited to powertrain only. I'm still looking for an affordable aftermarket warranty to cover the expensive stuff at a reasonable price. I know...dreaming.
Pictures will be coming ... I need to get time between working on all the other cars in the stable.

Ive found that to be a typical problem mine went out like 3 months after I bought it and my warranty didn't cover it like i thought! needless to say I ended up havin the dealer replace it and it was around 300+/-. and have had no other problems with any of the other windows. GOOD LUCK!

Welcome to the club!
Might i make a suggestion though, go into your profile and add your cars year and trim level to you signature so that in other topics people will know what car you have. it helps speed things up for troubleshooting.
Deffinetly want to see pics. i'd love to get my hands on a newer SSEi...
