Just wanted to say hi....
New member here,
Just found this forum today while looking up Bonneville related websites.
I've been a Bonneville owner for almost a year now.
She'* a 2004 Bonneville SE, Midnight Blue with the basic options. I bought her with 21,000 on the odometer last April and she'll be ticking over 57,000 miles tomorrow (Long commute).
I'm looking forward to learning as much as I can from you Bonneville gurus out there.
Thanks,
Ponch 04

So not too far from my 1/8 mile stomping grounds?
I plan on taking the SSEi to Grove Creek for a Friday Night Street Legals early in the season, and hopefully more than once this year, but I always feel like I'm getting jipped because they charge $35 for use of a track that is not NHRA sanctioned, and it'* only half the track BIR is that charges $20 for their 1/4 mile NHRA sanctioned track. :(
Maybe you'll have to meet up with me out there and I'll let you take the SSEi for a test run.

Yeah, I used to take my Olds up to Grove Creek every other Friday night about 4-5 years ago just to have some fun (got spanked by a C6 vette one night there too).
As for pictures, I'm waiting for the weather to warm up so I can give the Bonneville a thurough wash and wax (please bear with us Minnesota folk, March can be mild yet hellacious for snow)
Just gotta get through the high school tournaments
