At the moment we only have two active members with purple cars. They both are H body bonnevilles, both are in the same town (when i'm at school) both are SLE trimmed, one has the other one'* old stereo, and both see eachother A LOT. Kinda like willwren and his neighbor...

My cars don't have chrome rims, i'm a 'po boy I'm partial to the black '88-91 SSE myself... but I'm biased

Ahh...ok, I get the purple thing (well, I don't but at least I get that I shouldn't get it).

Yeah, chromes are an investment...and I still have to go back to the gold ones for winter (yucky!).
