Hi from South Carolina
Hi everyone,
Just registered on this site and recently bought a 1992 Bonneville SE. It has a little over 200,000 on it but the interior and body are in excellent condition. The engine is clean, does not burn oil and shifts nice and smooth. I paid only $1,000.00 for it....a daily driver to and from work.....10 miles each way. I would appreciate any info anyone can give me on this car....good or bad. I did a little research before i bought it and found it to be a rather decent vehicle. Look forward to more posts.

Welcome -I had a 1992 SE that I was rear-ended in with over 300,000 miles on it. I've had many Bonneville'* since, but that one carries my fondest memories.
For good news -you have the first year of my favorite Bonneville body-style.
For the bad news (may not get to you -it never got to mine) the 1992 Bonneville SE did not get an EGR system due to GM testing and finding they could pass emissions easily without the EGR valve. But in the long run this burnt valves. If it hasn't happened yet it may not happen for a long time.
Also, on the so-so news you don't have roller rockers like 1993+, which, would gain you 4-7 HP. They also wear less than your non-roller rockers.
BTW, Stick around and you won't regret it -it'* like a second home.

I'm in Simpsonville, SC.....Just a little ways from Greenville. By the way, I love this style of Bonneville. I just picked up a new serpentine belt and some front sway bar bushings. I'll try to post a picture of the '92 later. Thanks for the info on my Bonnevile, Blue Eyes.
