I'm Dave from the Chicago area. Our 2004 SLE has been a great car so far. My wife has put a few dings on it though, so now I'm becoming much more familiar with the mirror system than I'd like. Thinking about trading it for a tiny little car or maybe just put in a wider garage door!

Don't feel to bad. My wife backed her truck in to my garage for the weekend when we left. She backed until she heard a crunch. That was her rear door on my work bench. $1200 in damage to the truck.

Hi Dave. Now that you found the Bonneville Forum you will want to keep the car and widen the garage door.

Please add the year and model number of your car to your signature. Select User CP at the top of this page, and Edit Signature from the menu on the left of the page that opens. That helps us to help you.

You could ask her to drive better. OK, that didn't work for me, but you might have better luck.
