Default Hey Everyone

New to the forum but I've been browsing for a bit. Recently bought a 97 SE 40th with a 130,000 miles. I've always loved the bonny look and sort of stumbled upon the 40th version (wish it had supercharger, maybe next time) and have the loved car since... Except for the upper intake replace after having it for 3 months. The only good thing was my bro had done the same fix to his friends 97 bonny a month prior so the job went quickly.

Great kudos to this site for Its wealth of help. After my intake job a ring on the pcv valve was left off and Ii was minutes away from ripping the intake apart when I saw the post on this site that described to a T the screaching noises I heard. So I was extremely happy when that dang little gasket fixed such a horrible sounding problem.

Welcome!

Always good to meet new Bonneville lovers. That 40th is a sweet car when in good shape. It should give you plenty more miles now that it'* in good hands. Do you still have the old UIM? If so, look at it and then go to the sticky in 1992-1999 and post your info.

Great to be part of this fantastic forum, no pictures yet. My car is a grey bonny. Yea i already voted for the uim thread. Cant wait for a regional meet. Long shot but there is a pretty sweet black bonny w/blacked out lights in white bear lake sitting on some nice rims. Anyone know if they are a member (long shot i know) but if they are they deserve some nice props on their car.
