Just for the record, I have a 2000 black SSEI, fully loaded with all bells & wistles which I've owned since new & it'* all stock still.

Furthermore, I'm a computer tech; so, if anybody has any computer-related issues, I'll try to help.

I have one question: I'm considering buying a TECH 2 or any other diagnostics scan tool that could be user-friendly since I'm a novice in mechanics. So, if somebody could recommend some models ($100 - $500 range), I would appreciated.
Welcome to the club RamSus...Tech 2 can be expensive new (3,000? USD). If you looking for readings and the ability to clear SES codes you can get the autotap which is a computer interface with software, gives nice gauges and real time info on everything the PCM controls. I think i paid about 280.00 USD or so for mine. Just do a google for autotap.

Rogue, thanks for the recommendation. Autotap or anything similar is exactly what I'm looking for.
