Default Hello from Kimberly

Hello: I have browse the forums before looking for answers. I registered at a couple of sites trying to get help with my Buick LeSabre and the people there were just so uncaring and the advice they gave just costs me extra money. I noticed that here at GMForum that the people seem to really care about helping someone get their cars running.

I am not new to auto repair. I started out by helping my Dad rebuild engines and automatic transmissions for family members. Dad is gone now but I value what I learned from him and it has saved me a lot of money in being able to repair my own cars.

The last major job I did was rebuilding the transmission in my old 1986 Ford (hope that is not a dirty word here) Taurus. The Ford is long gone and I am happy with my old 1993 Buick LeSabre but lately she is having problems. Those other sites are not helping me and I am hoping that the folks here can help me.

Thanks,
Kimberly

Welcome to the forum! Don't worry about that F word here. Personally, I like Fords just as much as I like GM vehicles. I had a 2000 Ranger before my Buick, and it never let me down.

Don't forget to post some pictures of your ride

Welcome! I'm a diehard GM, but other brands don't bother me at all.

If you were close to Boston, I may consider hiring you as a transmission rebuilder!!
