Wrench and go,my home away from home,I got awesome alloy rims there for $20 each, best salvageyard going in this area!!!They had 5 Bonnevilles last time I was there, they claim to go through 50 cars a day!!!
And when you remove the adapter, there is a metal plunger with a spring behind it that'll stick out. Either try to keep it sitting there or remember that the spring goes in before the metal plunger.

Hi everyone, been a bit since I last posted.I did finally get around to swapping oil filter adapters.Total cost plus gasket, oil and filter was around $25.00.Thanks for the tips.It was not as bad as I thought,I did end up removing passenger side tire and inner wheel well liner for better access.I was worried when I first started the car,the oil pressure was topped out.I figured out quickly that the oil pressure switch on the junk yard part was no good,so I had to replace it with the original one off the part I replaced.
I am likely going to end up in a transmition shop here soon as my tranny is starting to disengage when turning right, goes back in gear quickly, but starting to shutter a bit when I let up on the gas.Tim
