hi everybody hows everyone doin? as you can tell im new here. my name is Craig, last i week i purchased a 08 chevy colorado. pretty base model but it gets the job done, no power windows, locks, or any of that. has AC though. it has the 2.9 4 cyl which im really hoping will give me some good MPG'* with todays gas prices. has a nearly 20 gallon capacity gas tank thats gonna be expensive to fill. anyway to tell you a little more about my self. i work in the auto business. like all others it has its ups and downs. i am a ASE certified automobile technician and actually spent about a year as a chevy technician at a chevy/hyundai dealer, so while i certainly havent seen it all ive seen a bit. i also own a 2002 dodge intrepid which is my baby you could say lol, i am a long time member on dodgeintrepid.net with many posts . i like all american cars but my blood cells are made of mopar M'*. glad to now own a GM product as well. gives me an excuse to interact with you guys.

thank you. nice bonneville and impala. did you have the recall on the passenger seat safety belt pretensioner done on the Impala yet? cant remember if 08'* were involved or not

the 08'* were not affected by that that i know of yet. i got the 08 cause there were never any recalls on them. plus being a former cop car has it'* perks

good! i couldnt remember off the top of my head. the newer impalas seemed to be great cars. they didnt seem to have near as many issues as some of GM'* other vehicles *cough traverse *cough
