Default Hello

New member from the Houston, TX area...been lurking for a while and decided it was time to join.

Just obtained a 94 Bonneville SE through an unfortunate death in the family. Its only got 119,000 miles on it and is in great condition!

I greatly appreciate the wealth of information I have already browsed on this site and hope to contribute in the future. I am not much of a gearhead, but I am looking forward to working on this car myself (I'm inspired by the great help that can be found here).

The car was sitting in a garage for about 3 months, only driven about three times during that stretch. I have changed the oil (using Mobil 1 high mileage) and filter. Air filter is clean. Coolant in the radiator looks good. No obvious leaks.

Any advice for a car that was sitting for that long?

Thanks in advance and I look forward to future discussions with everyone here.

Welcome to BC

Sitting for th last 3 months probably shouldn't be a probalem. Now, if it were sitting longer than that, and just a good idea in general would be to check over all the vacuum lines and inspect the battery cables. Other thna that, it sounds like you have a nice low mileage Bonneville to enjoy.
