A CAI of some sort will be first on my list after changing everything else out....Are there any preferred spark plug/wires?....And what kind of oil do these 3800s like? I've always been a fan of Mobil One...

Yes, the 3800s love Mobil 1. Good choice!

As far as spark plugs, a lot of us have had great success with the NGK TR55 plugs. Just don't run Bosch! The 3800s and Bosch equipment don't get along well....at all. I run the AC Delco wires and haven't had any issues.

Running colder plugs on a stock setup really isn't necessary, would just result in having to replace them sooner.

And yeah, '93'* are nice

Thanks for all the input guys!......Just curious: as far as exhaust goes, I see constant comments about different mufflers such as Flowmaster, etc....What would be the best combo for me if I wanted to make my Bonnie breath freely?

For all out performance, a Magnaflow is king. But it'* only 1% better than the Flowmaster... Really you choose by sound, And I recommend adding a resonator right after the cat too. Find a muffler for a Late model Camaro/Firebird, I tend to use 1996 year model. Add a high flow universal cat and you're set.

:? Add a resonater?.....I know it'* probably added for sound reasons, but how bad could my car sound with just the high flow cat/Magnaflow that would prompt me to add another restriction in the exhaust?....What diameter is the exhaust on these things, after all?...and is there any particular high flow cat & muffler that works better than others?...

93'* don't have resonators....that started from the factory in 94. Here'* some examples of mine pre-resonator. The resonator was installed 2 days after the first vid. Sorry, I don't have any after vids yet, but it'* MUCH better.

The car you hear in the background is mine. You'll see it after the scream.

My car turned heads in town before the resonator. Kinda cool, but it got old. The resonator really mellowed it out, but it'* still impressive.

Sounds great!....But does adding a resonator cost you performance?....And if not, where do I get the right resonator, as well as the best high-flow cat & muffler?...

Thanx.
Andy
