Default Goodbye GTP, hello Bonneville SSEI

Made a difficult decision. I've had my GTP for over 3 years and had a lot of fun. Had fun modding it and ran a best of 13.53 in it. I've been part of ClubGp for 3 years and learned a lot over there. But I just turned 100,000 miles and it'* needs a new tranny. Well I decided it wasn't worth putting $2500 into it anymore. So I put the money down on a 2003 SSEI and traded in the GTP. I'll be upside down on the car for a while but who isn't nowadays. Let em tell you, there is no comparison between the two cars other then the engine. What an awesome car this is. I'm looking forward to a long and rewarding time with the Bonnie and here on this forum.

Thanks. Now I just have to figure out what the color of the car is called. The salesman called it "carbon grey"? Is that correct. I don't have a picture to post. Is there a place on the car it would tell me?

Welcome to the club.

I did the opposite of you last summer. I got rid of my 95 SSE and got a 97 GTP.

Welcome to the club!

Did you de-mod your GTP before you traded it in? You could just throw all of those parts onto your new SSEi!
