Hello everyone at BC. I have been lurking for about a week.(as long as I've owned a bonnie.) The car is a 92 SSEi, A guy at work inherited from his grandfather. It is fully loaded and in beautiful condition. I didnt know i was going to buy it until he told me he was trading it in after work on a minivan as per his wifes orders. What they offered wouldnt replace the wheels and tires he put on it, sooo I own it. I intended to sell it and make a few bucks but hey! this is a great car, sure the motor is in sideways but im getting used to that too. Anyway it does have a few problems and i will post them in the appropriate forums. Please be patient with me as all previous Pontiac'* were carburetted v8s with maybe a power trunk or air. OK back to the archives lol V8why?

Welcome...

Wait until you start playing with all the seat buttons. The gadgets and goodies are nice. As far as the motor being sideways and your experience with carbs..I like to think it'* much simpler and takes less talent on the newer cars

No fuel adjustment needed.
No spark adjustment needed

Simply drop in motor..turn key...it'* magic.

Welcome! Don't hang on to it too long, or you likely won't want to sell it.

Welcome to BC!

I like a nice V8 and RWD as much as the next guy, but this car has been really great to me. See you in the mechanical section...

Welcome to the forum and glad to see another Canadian member. I'd say your about a 2 hour drive away, that'* not to bad considering there'* only about a hand full within the same distance. Hope you stick around and post those problems in the appropriate section ...... you should get some suggestions quickly. Be carefull with some of the members here since they tend to get out of control if they don't take there meds regularly.

Enjoy the stay.
