She definitely needs some loving. I'd love to see a supercharged 3800 go in it. Yea, start a thread in the Pontiac section, heck, I might even sticky it for ya.

Welcome to the forum! Always good to see some Pontiac love.

Mike'* right, you can put a 3800 Series II and matching transmission into that thing, depending on the year. It'll be a lot of work (and a couple skipped student loan payments), but I imagine it'd be a powerful upgrade.

Welcome to the forums! I think the Fiero'* are a neat little ride too. One came into our shop last summer for a clutch issue and I got it (I'm a tech at a GM dealer). It was a 88 Fiero GT 2.8L 5-speed. It was MINT, looked like brand new, 50,000km (30K miles), never saw rain or snow, not a spec of rust on it from top to bottom, original everything right down to the brakes, conical washers were still on the wheel studs! Ended up doing quite a bit of work to it, clutch master and slave cylinders, 4 new tires to replace the original ones that were rotted and weathercracked, thermostat, bunch of other stuff too. Had it out for a few good rides, what a fun car to drive!

Good luck with your project, looking forward to seeing your progress.

My friend is selling me the front end, rotor to rotor
Out of his 02 Monti, so I'm getting that, going to turbocharge it, it'* a 3.8 series 2 mated to a 4t65e, both are getting a fresh rebuild, along with heavy modification, limited slip, performance cam, ceramic coated pistons, building them up to hold about 15 lbs of boost, and sorry I hadn't responded sooner, my aunt is in the hospital, the Fiero had to make 2 trips to Nashville, 140 miles 1 way, it blew off the radiator cap, got a new one then it blew off a hose, lol, its running good now though, my aunt is doing better, I drove it about 50 miles dumping a gallon of water in every 5-10 miles in 15 degree weather
