Hi. My name is Steve and I have had my '92 for almost two years. I think I ran into this site once before, but never did any posting. My '92 is essentially stock at this time. I have a lot of experience working on cars, my dad is a mechanic and I spent many years working for him when I was in high school and beyond.

Presently I am employed as a mechanical engineer for a medical device company.

In some other posts I have tried to share some of the things I have learned about my ssei, in the hopes that it might help someone else. Right now I am trying to get my ssei in top shape, replacing broken or worn parts, fixing rusty brake lines, etc.

But I do also have some interest in some modest performance mods, as long as they are easily reversible. I must say that the ssei has some great power, even in stock trim.

I'm amazed at the prices some of these specialty shops want for intake pipes, etc. There isn't much to these parts, but I guess if they work, it'* easier than making your own.

One thing I would like to get for my car is some different wheels. Mine has the style that is painted the same color as the car. I was thinking even the gold crosslaced would be better. I'd like to find a nice set of these so if anyone has any, let me know. I don't have any interest (or money) to buy a brand new set of rims. I'm looking for incremental improvements.
