The bouncing is caused by the 170k miles on the struts. They need replaced, the car will drive much better if they are replaced also.

i joined the original bonneville club back in 05 when i was 14,

ill be 20 next wednesday..and the knowlege i have after 6 years of messing around with these cars, owning a few and talking with fellow members is incredible

Welcome to the forum, Ben. My mom drove a red 1998 Bonneville SE for a few years when I was your age. Thought I spotted it the other day, but forgot to look for the dealer'* sticker on the trunk. No matter, though, I think I look better in green anyway.

It looks like your dad takes very good care of that Bonnie. If you end up with it, you'd better take good care of it, too -- we'll contact our other Georgia members and make sure of that.
