Hey everyone. I'm an 18 year old from New Jersey. I have a 93 SSE with all the SSEI options. My ride has 230,000 miles on it. Rebuilt supercharger at 200,000 miles. My brother bought it brand new off the lot and passed it down to me. It runs well but I really want to get the full potential out of the engine and also want to improve gas milage. So give me some tips or cheapish mods please!!! I have no knowledge of mechanics except for what i know from reading Motor Trend and Car and Driver haha. So help a brotha out!!!!

Welcome to the Bonneville Forum.

Being a series 1 engine you are a bit more limited as far as parts. But things can be done.

To improve mileage you can change your plugs, wires, check your coils, change your O2 sensor, and air filter. Check all fluid levels, change as needed. Check tire pressure, and brakes.

Hey there young Buck,

Welcome to the forum!

Try a K&N drop in air filter for starters......

What'* the interior color? If it'* tan that may be your gas mileage and low HP problem!

Just kidding, so I assume you're saying at 200,000 orig. miles you put a new engine in? Anyways welcome aboard!
