66 Bonneville guys
Hi,
I'm Greg. I'm located in the Chicago suburbs. My son and I are slowly (very slowly) restoring my grandfather'* 1966 Bonneville. I've thought of this car as the Batmobile ever since it was new and I was a little kid. I took it over from my grandmother in 1999. At that point it was in excellent condition as it had barely been driven more than a few miles at a time since my grandfather died in 1972.
I drove it full time for a couple of years until I was rear-ended by a woman who never saw me and never hit the brakes. Her car was totalled, my Bonneville was not too badly damaged, but as she had no insurance, what money I did recover was not enough to take care of all the problems. We've hobbled along ever since, and now my 18 year-old son and I are trying to make it all better.
