Default 2001 Pontiac Bonneville se multi issues

ok i just got my 01 bonnie for $800

abs does not work, trac control doesnt work, heated seats dont work, and climate control will not power blower motor

my main concern is how should i trouble shoot traction control.

i already know that if u unplug the wheel speed sensor an hook a dvom to it on dc volts it should read some where around 300 mv when turning by hand.

what would cause the heated seats to not work? the switches used to light up but do not now unless u hit the switch then the yellow light stays on for around 1-2 seconds then shuts off

as for the climate control.... p/o had said the plug for the blower motor always melts a bit. so they replaced the plug multiple times now the unit that controls the blower motor dont send power to it any longer. what do i need to replace?

i have access to around 3-4 00-08 bonnevilles in the junkyard

the trac control wont work till the abs is fixed it uses the abs for traction contol. so you need to get the abs fixed first. also the speed sensor puts out a/c voltage

.....hmm did i accidentally spell my name with an i? lol

anyway i kno abs has to be fixxed first i was kinda putin the two together as in i fix this and this abs and trac control will work.

i dont have pics of my bonneville yet......

its been a while since ive tested wheel speed sensors i couldnt remember if it was ac or dc but ac makes sence now that i put thought into it cus its the same thing as a reluctor type crank sensor

as for the bonnevilles ya i kno where sum are all the way up to 08

theres a couple salvage yards around flint michigan here that have wrecked ones... its where i got the leather back seat a working air compressor and miscellaneous other things i needed.

also ive gotten several parts from the more luxury model buicks

is there a separate part of the forum to ask questions on repairs? i couldnt find it........ this isnt setup quite like the other car forums im used to
