Default Yukon won't heat up! While driving

I replaced the thermostat. The coolant sensor. Replaced coolant to the best of my ability with that vehicle not having a radiator cap... which is driving me nuts. I burped it. Ran the vehicle kept overflow open and topped off. The heat works just fine while driving. The car gets up to 210 and sits while parked. But when I drive at all it won't get above 185-190 and sits there. My mpg have dropped to 12 mpg. And it'* killing me. I have done everything I can think of. I feel I have air pockets in the line somewhere. Please help! 4 young kids and 2 jobs working 90 hrs a week and can't afford a shop.

185-190 is okay. A factory thermostat is supposed to be 187 Fahrenheit.

12MPG city or highway?

How many miles on the vehicle?

How many miles have you owned it?

What region does it live in?

Is the check engine light on?

Need to raise the front as high as possible and burp it. Also that it is full of coolant.
