Water pump from Hades

I'm working on a 2011 GMC terrain 3.0 and I'm working on the water pump do I got to take a motor mount off and if so what can I hold it up with then can I use the cherry picker? Any advice right now would be good advice

Are you talking about this?

If so then I suspect any way that is possible to do the job without removing it would be more difficult than just removing it.

If it were me, I'd support it underneath with floor jack lifting a chunk of 2x8 under something solid.
