Vibration in V4 Mode

2013 GM 5.3l

Significant vibration in V4 mode during light acceleration. No vibration in V8 mode(using gear M5 to disable AFM).

Original owner, ran fine then vibration started and got worse.

Sounds like a possible compression issue.

How many miles on it?

How many miles on the current spark plugs?

Vehicle has 110k miles
Engine is Reman and has 30k miles
Spark Plugs have 30k miles

This engine was fine for 30K and now you have a vibration in 4V?

Yes, everything was fine in the beginning, then got worse over the last 10k miles

I believe this chassis may be known for failed motor mounts. Not nearly as noticeable when running on 8 cylinders.

What is the best way to check the motor mounts?

Pry on them with a crow bar or similar. A good mount will move a bit but you'll know when you find bad one.
