Default vibration at 74 mph in GMC truck

I have a 2017 GMC 3/4 ton truck with 66,000 miles that has a driveline vibration. Seems worse at 72-77 mph. I have had the the wheels, tire rebalance, Had the entire front end checked over with no issues.
Would also like to note that I have had a 2003 and 2008 Chevrolet 3/4 ton pickups with exactly the same vibration issue. This 2017 GMC is much worse. Is there any recalls and or is there anything that can be done to resolve
this vibration??? I have talked with other GM truck owners who are having the same issue. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Where is the vibration? Did they rotate tires front to back?

The bad ole "Chevy Shake" drive line vibration issues. There literally is tens of thousands of complaints.
There is a class action lawsuit that I know of: https://topclassactions.com/lawsuit-...t-high-speeds/

There are many online videos that seem to point towards upgrading into 2 piece driveshaft as a required fix, or better built (thicker walled tubes) that are properly balanced.

Yes, tires and wheels balanced and rotated. Even went as far as replacing a questionable tire. It is not the tires or wheels!! One other note. The vibration is even worse when you are pulling a trailer. I believe it changes the angle if the driveline.

Thanks for the information. I will look into it. I am disappointed that GM has not or will not address this issue. I own a Ford work truck and it DOES NOT have this issue. Might have to consider a Ford next year!! Thanks again for the info.

Understandable. Part of this problem was the fact that GM technicians were limited in using stock GM parts.
Then the techs were probably told "to keep quiet" and then "we" don't know what'* wrong.
The improvements will come from the aftermarket, yet there is no inexpensive fix.

Is it a vibration like 10 times a second or is it more of a high speed vibration like a drive shaft so it sounds and feels like a buzzing sound a little lower pitched than a typical cell-phone vibration?

I have described it as an osculating vibration. Guessing 5-10 per second. It is not continuously the same. It does seem to come from the truck body and you feel it in the seat, Not the steering wheel. It is very speed sensitive (72-78 mph) and pulling a trailer makes it much worse. My guess is the drive line and as mentioned above, the drive shaft. I am curious (if) it can be fixed, and how much it cost to rebalance or replace the driveshift?

I would make sure the driveline angle is correct, then verify no play in either of the u-joints. Check trans output shaft play and diff input shaft play.

I have had a competent mechanic to check input and output and u-joints. All ok. Would have to go to a GM shop to get the proper driveline angle. I have not done that yet. Since it is a single one-piece driveshaft how can you change the angle between input and output?
