Default Valve lifter

I’m going to be attempting to replace my lifters as I have the dreaded tick happening and it’* only getting worse. Any recommendations on where I should order the parts for this job? Unfortunately I’ve called Chevy twice now to request a parts inquiry and they have yet to call me back.

It looks like you have a 2015 Sierra 1500 6.2 .

Are you sure the tick is a lifter tick?

Does the tick go away when the engine speed increases?

How many miles on it?

yeah it’* coming from that area of the engine driver side. The noise increases with acceleration as well. Not just cold start. It has 71k miles on it.

Do you have active fuel management (cylinder deactivation), or not? There is a difference in the lifters between the two.

Record the tick for us. Especially under load.

How many miles are on this 6.2 engine? Edit ok 71,000 miles, that is pretty low. Are the exhaust /manifold tight, no leak?
I would highly recommend first trying a 15 oz bottle of LubeGard bio-tech engine additive.
Eliminates lifter and other objectionable noise generally within 3 minutes, big time !
Does remove friction and worth a try! https://www.lubegard.com/products/biotech/

yeah it still has the factory AFM. Not sure if I want to get into deleting that just yet and upgrading the camshaft as I haven’t done a cam job before and not sure if theirs a reputable tune shop here in Alaska
