75 was a dealer tech for a number of years i would go with whatever he thinks. i do know that sometimes problems sneak up but once they start slipping at all even the least bit, takes whatever life you still had out of the clutches, so its going to have to be gone through for that reason alone. alot of times on the 60s they replace all the solenoids and electrical stuff inside because they are frequently bad.
