Default Tell me this isn't what it looks like pls

first photo center, opposite middle bolt. The others are close-ups. Engine is 2006 GM 3.4l vin F



dunno how I didn't notice this til two days ago;focused on other things I guess. But it appears to me like a crack where the block and transmission intersect.......or is this 'normal'?

Looks like a casting corner to me. Can you take pictures with the flash on that doesn't put a hot spot in the middle of the picture?

I just can't tell if there'* a crack there that I can't see in the pictures.

here'* a couple more but not sure they could be considered improvements. Will take some more when sun up w/o flash. Thank you.

This is the part that I can't tell if it is a crack or now. If you could shine a flashlight on this area from a couple of feet to the side of your camera, then take a picture with your flash on, I think I'd have my answer.
