rear spring interchange
I've got a '98 Chevy K2500, with a 454cid with the 4L80E. Great pickup, pass anything on the road but a gas station! Now for the question... Will '07 1 ton leaf springs fit on my '98? From my research, they will. Has anyone attempted this? Am I crazy for attempting this myself?

Trying to get the capacity of a one ton without buying one. One trailer I use is 4K empty, and I can't put load levelers on the trailer. The only time I really use the pickup is hauling or towing something.

Well, I got the springs on, and work great! And it raised the back of the pickup 2 inches, which helped the appearance that I was hauling something when I wasn't. But am having a problem finding the frame mounted bump stops for the single overload spring. Does anyone have any websites that have any? Been to alot of the sites and they have the springs, but not the stops. Been to all the local wrecking yards, all to no avail...
