FYI 98 Suburban K25400 Centric Rear Drums Beware
Bought Centric Rear Drums #123.66030. Installed and had horrendous brake shudder. Removed rear wheels, turned drums around backwards on hubs & centered them, set up dial indicator, spun drums with truck in neutral. both sides were 39-41 thousands out of round! Had them turned where I purchased them from, reinstalled and now they're fine!. Contacted Centric last week and no answer yet. Just be aware when you buy their stuff that it'* best to buy them where they can install them on a brake lathe to measure them. This is uncalled for!

Would like to hear if Centric replies.
Sounds like a quality control issue, they should not be out of round when new.
Did they charge you to have them turned? If so send a bill to Centric !

Yea after multiple emails that were undeliverable and phone calls to their Tech Support(!?) that just rang until complete silence I've given up on them. To refresh everyone it was a 98 Suburban K2500 Rear drums, Centric # 123.66030.Don't buy this CRAP from this CRAP company. Thanks for reading.

That'* unfortunate. Thanks for letting us know about it.
The problem with this is that they shipped waaaAAaAay out of round, and that is "fixed" by turning them so I guess that'* something. Now that they've been turned, you have thinner areas of the drum that will heat and cool differently than the parts that didn't get as much metal removed, which will lead to warped drums again. That'* assuming that the drum was cast and cut with an equal thickness all the way around in the first place.
If you don't tow a lot you might be fine for a while.
