Default Front end hopping on sharp corners

I recently replaced my oil pan on a 2002 Yukon Danali, which has all wheel drive, and in doing so I had to drop the front differential to get the pan out. Since sucessfully putting it back together and getting an alignment the front end hops when i turn a sharp corner as if it were in 4-wheel drive and the limited slip wasn't working. Not sure what may have caused the issue but I'm concerned that the limited slip is broken. I am working out of my garage and was careful to lower the diferential on a floor jack when taking out but when putting back in the diff rolled off the jack and hit the floor from about 4 inches off the ground. After that i suspended it with straps and was able to gently put it back in place.

Oh and i replaced the front wheel barings on both sides since I have >250K miles on it. i don't think that is the issue since it was an easy plug and play.

any suggestions?

Take the inspection cover off and see if you can find a problem.

Lift the front end off the ground. Disconnect front drive shaft. Can you turn the front wheels independently to some degree or are they locked together?
